Party and Good Food

For although the venue was a new venue in town by AD and Sabina Singh, guests came from far and wide, drawn by the good food and bonhomie.

The lovely Urvashi Sharma was an early entrant, and was kept discreet company by a male friend who was overheard possesively keeping tabs on her.

Heads turned and flashbulbs clicked when Queenie Dhody entered, and made for the airconditioned area, lest the heat in the outdoor area spoil her makeup dahlings! Arjun Rampal and wife Mehr came all the way from Andheri after attending another do, while Kim Sharma pouted for lensmen, as guests devoured chef Max Orlati's cuisine.

AD was especially ecstatic when Gautam Singhania entered, and took him straight to the bar. Preity Zinta was late but looked great.

A few words on the food. The salmon, black pomfret and scallops were as fresh as could be. The menu was par excellence, and the oven fresh pizzas were a hit. Cyrus Poonawala looked jolly as ever. All in all, a splendid time was had by all.
